Ponytail Falls to Oneonta Gorge

Just did this hike with my wife and two boys. The trail from Horsetail falls looked a little intimidating due to steepness. It wasn't that bad and once we reached Ponytail falls it was all worth it. I almost acted out the scene from Last of the Mohicans while standing behind the falls. Absolutely amazing water fall. - sparrowsmith

Saturday 5:15pm Hiked from parking lot to the first stream crossing. Stream is in the shade and is a nice resting spot. Took about 60 minutes to get there. Trail was dry, sun was warm, breeze was pleasant. Passed about 7-10 other hikers. - stevenk

Trail is in good condition, it rained off and on both days. There were lots of people on the west side of Rocky Sea Pass. Most of the flowers are already gone but it is still a beautiful area. - hiram

Nisqually Vista Trail

The trail had a lot of snow on it, which made it a lot slower than the 7.9 miles we did along the Wonderland Trail. But there were some great view of Mount Rainier along the way. The snow also helped keep us cool beneath a warm sun. - geomattino
Wonderland Trail (Longmire to Narada Falls)

Started at Longmire Museum, hiked to Narada Falls, then came back to Cougar Rock Campground. Between Longmire and Cougar Rock Campground, there were some trails that were only marked by flags in the ground. But between Cougar Rock Campground and Narada Falls, the trail was well blazed. - geomattino
