Lake Merced Perimeter Trail - Running
Had a nice run after practicing for the upcoming Dragon Boat race. Enjoyed the walk/jog.

Wonderland Trail (Longmire to Narada Falls) - Hiking
Started at Longmire Museum, hiked to Narada Falls, then came back to Cougar Rock Campground. Between Longmire and Cougar Rock Campground, there were some trails that were only marked by flags in the ground. But between Cougar Rock Campground and Narada Falls, the trail was well blazed.

Nisqually Vista Trail - Hiking
The trail had a lot of snow on it, which made it a lot slower than the 7.9 miles we did along the Wonderland Trail. But there were some great view of Mount Rainier along the way. The snow also helped keep us cool beneath a warm sun.

Flume Trail to Main Street, Los Gatos - Hiking
Actually started hiking from Main Street, Los Gatos, connected with Jones Trail, followed Jones Trail to Lexington Reservoir, came back down the Flume Trail Segment, and back to Main Street, Los Gatos. Perfect weather for a hike!

Santa Teresa County Park - Hiking
Beautiful Memorial Day hike. Warm sun and cool breeze. We marked where our car was and did a loop around the park. This was just part of a large network of trails.

South Kaibab Trail - Hiking
Great weather, but it was a little dusty. Wanted to go further into the Grand Canyon, but didn't leave early enough. This is one you need to start early and bring plenty of water. Hiked with several kids ranging in age from 7 to 18. Beautiful view.

Maple Flat - Hiking
Not sure whether this would be our last time hiking for the season. Started up at around 3pm. The colors were beautiful -- reds, oranges, yellows. Made it almost to the end when we happened upon (what we think was) a black bear. Decided that it would be best to head back down the mountain.

Jordan River Path - Utah Lake to Thanksgiving Point - Skating
My wife and I rollerbladed this trail for our anniversary. It was perfect terrain, but the weather was a little hot (we didn't get off until 11am). At the very end, there was a crazy steep hill. Going up was okay, but we took the rollerblades off on the way down. Great trail and not a lot of people.

The 'Y' Trail - Hiking
Left a little after 8pm and got to the top just in time to watch a great sunset. Made it to the bottom before it was too dark to see the trail. Great Monday night activity.

Provo River Trail (Will's Pit Stop to Vivian Park) - Skating
Left early in the morning. It was a little breezy at parts, which slowed us down a little on the rollerblades. Good exercise going up and a quick and easy pace coming down. Watch out for snakes! We saw a four foot snake in the middle of the path. Almost ran over it coming around a corner on the way down. But that is the first time we've seen a snake that big in the many times that we've been on this trail. Didn't make it all the way to Vivian Park because we didn't have enough time.

Buffalo Peak from Rock Canyon - Hiking
Great hike with some wonderful views. Wanted to stop at Squaw Peak along the way, but found a trail through a nice meadow. Some mud in parts, but not too bad. Aspens were beautiful.

Buffalo Peak Trail - Hiking
Some wonderful views of meadows, mountains, and trees. Took some awesome photos. Instead of coming back to the Squaw Peak parking lot, we hiked from Buffalo Peak out Rock Canyon. Perfect weather for an afternoon hike (we had to wait until the afternoon for the trail to dry out).

Stewart's Cascades - Hiking
Great hike. Especially enjoyed the mist from the waterfall at the end. It was a great way to cool down. The aspen trees were beautiful.

Fremont River Trail - Hiking
Great hike for sunset. Not too long, but there is a gorgeous view of the surrounding peaks and valleys. Took some awesome pictures!

Rim Overlook - Hiking
We combined this hike with Hickman Bridge. Had a lot of fun, but forgot sunscreen. Wanted to make it to the Knobs, but didn't leave early enough in the day. Remember to bring plenty of water and sunscreen.
