- departs Orson Smith Trailhead, 12601 South 2000 East, Draper UT
- 4.3 Miles to spring, last reliable water
- another 1.3 miles to the Outlaw Cabin, a good spot to spend the night if you are backpacking and the end of the maintained trail
- route find up the drainage eventually following the cairns to the peak
- exposed class 4 scrambling required at the peak ridge
