Trail Description

This is a great hike (or bike) that is very close to home. No big hills, lots of trees, a lake, and a river. Kid friendly, but still not a complete walk in the park. OK, it actually is a walk in a park, but this is no asphalt path through a nicely mowed lawn. For example, if you are mountain biking there are a couple sections with rocks and roots that are near impossible to climb, and some really steep trails off of this one. Today we took the kiddos on this hike for about the millionth time (they like it), and the two year-old made it the whole way down and about half-way back. It was a beautiful, sunny October day in the Northwest.
