ActiveTrails - Heritage Trail (along Lacamas Lake)

Trail Description

Heritage Trail is a 3-mile (I didn't quite make it the whole way, sorry) flat wide trail along Lacamas Lake. It's beautiful, there are lots of tall trees, ducks, bunnies, fish, and boats on the lake in summer. It's very popular with runners, just run down and back for a nice 10K. There is a little parking lot at either end, I started at the one on Goodwin Road where there is a little bathroom and drinking fountain. - krupan

Rode from home up to this trail and then down the trail and back. It was cold and very foggy this morning, I couldn't even see half-way across the lake. I didn't dress warm enough and the cold and wet was nasty. The trail was still beautiful and I saw lots of runners.
